November 2015 is a benchmark month for me. Lots of travel and a BIG birthday. The capstone for this month will be a trip to the Empire Quilt Guild in New York City to present Six Generations of Maine Quiltmakers, a lecture and trunk show about my family legacy that spans more than 100 years. I love sharing the stories and the treasures I inherited, as well as current projects of mine and my grandchildren. It’s all about sharing my passion for quilts!
The Empire Quilt Guild hosts programs in Manhattan and welcomes guests ($5.00 fee). Join me on November 14 as I share my family’s needlework treasures. More information: Empire Quilt Guild
An added bonus at the November meeting is the guild’s annual member yard sale of quilting-related items. I will be bringing along some vintage New England treasures to offer for sale: quilt tops, blocks, and more. Bargains, galore!
